Make it REPAP

Brief: build content for Comieco’s Paper Week that effectively communicates the value of sustainability.

Work: we realized that in order to make the project unique, alive, and break out of the usual clichés we needed something concrete that could speak for itself, regardless of different entities or applications, to show that sustainability is a bold and cool thing, if we change our point of view.

Outcome: REPAP was born, a brand, a collective of people, a lab where communication projects on sustainability are built through an ad hoc path that enhances every kind of production waste by making it the basis for a proprietary and inclusive visual storytelling.

REPAP = PAPER, in honor of the starting point of this open source project: patterns are free to download as is the chosen font, Climate Crisis.
Changing the world is possible, but it takes disruption, boldness, style and beauty to do it.

In addition to brand and methodology development, we collaborated with the REPAP team in the creative development of projects.

Pap the Sneak

Outcome: An example of applying the REPAP method through the use of paper scraps.
As NY subculture lovers, we invented a sneaker brand – The Sample Brand – and created a possible store experience along which to narrate the project.

We provided a number of patterns generated from paper scraps with which to dress their own sneakers, then shipped home in REPAP packages, also born from production waste.

We also used the patterns to create an illustrated adv.

The project was exhibited in Milan during Paper Week, Design Week, and at Packaging Premiere.

Pap the Fabric

Outcome: REPAP lands in the world of fashion by joining forces with FVL, a company specializing in the production of fabrics for inner garment linings, pockets and counter belts.
FVL has always invested in innovative and sustainable projects, and it was at Munich Fabric Start that it chose to collaborate with REPAP on creating a new, more catchy language to promote its products and efforts.

This time we started from textile waste material: we worked the shapes and weaves to create 3 wonderful patterns that dressed a booth wall at Munich Fabric Start, shopping bag and cards.

Pap the Metal

Outcome: The last project to be handled by REPAP was the experience design, and booth dressing of Terranova Instruments at ADIPEC Oil & Gas Exhibition 2023, which was held in Abu Dhabi early October.
Terranova embraced the entire journey offered by REPAP, from scrap metal production to the development of the booth design at the trade show.
We have taken up the campaign from the previous edition, elevating the iconic GOAT that was its protagonist to an ambassador of the commitment to the environment made by the Lodi-based company, REPAPPING IT with new shapes and colors that originate from scrap metal.

For the setting up of the booth, the following were made: counters, wallpapers and cards.

One of the goals of the project, in consistency with the REPAP philosophy, was also to make the disassembly sustainable, which was accomplished through the distribution of gadgets to fair visitors.
